Eggcellent Fun at the Ley Arms…

On April 7th Rosie’s Corset took to the stage to entertain at the Ley Arms in Kenn. We had a fantastic night, surrounded by friends and family, and the ever-supportive locals from the pub. With bunny stew on the menu, Jo and Kas wearing Rabbit Ears, and an eggciting Easter-Egg raffle, a great night was had all round. Thanks again to the fab staff at the Ley Arms for looking after us! Rosie’s Corset ‘Spring’ into action

Our first gig of Spring was to celebrate the landlords birthday at the Old Rydon in Kingsteignton. Next up, we were entertaining guests at Margaret’s 60th Birthday Party in the Fingle Glen, and then most recently we played at the Exminster Twinning Association Fundraiser. At all three gigs the guests were up and dancing, and in some cases, joining us on the stage with a mic (a special mention has to go to Margaret!). What started as a conversation one drunken night turned into reality, and this January, Rosie’s Corset celebrated our first birthday. We’ve grown from strength to strength, and have built up an impressive playlist, and a keen group of supporters. In the last twelve months we’ve performed to our adoring public, got the boys in their pink ties, changed practice venues a few times, bought some new instruments along the way, and have spent loads of hours together practicing, picking new songs, socialising, and dreaming of making it big! MERRY CHRISTMAS from Rosie’s Corset

We kicked off the festive season in style at the Exminster Golf Centre on December 16th. Everyone turned out in their finest fancy dress and were in the mood for partying. Rosie’s Corset performed two hour-long sets, including some new Christmas favourites in our line up. Photos are avaiable to view online in the gallery.
